At Downing Capital Group we leverage our team’s industry and investing expertise to capitalize and scale world class businesses. Our process begins with ideation after which we seek to validate or disprove an investment thesis through an exhaustive diligence process. A core component of the research phase is consultations with industry experts. We hope that these experts—such as yourself—will provide insight into an industry’s trends and competitive landscape. In some circumstances, opportunities later arise for research consultants to serve as advisors to our portfolio companies on an ongoing basis. We will, of course, compensate you for the time you spend with us.

Founded in 2021, Downing Capital Group manages ~$80 million on behalf of institutional investors. Our founder, Jesse Downing, was formerly an investor at The Baupost Group, a $30 billion investment partnership, where he made investments in media, healthcare, packaging, software, agriculture, aircraft, grocery, consumer products, business services, entertainment, and leisure.
